To coincide with the local festival this enthusiastic youth group once again came up trumps with a thoroughly entertaining concert. With excerpts from Hairspray, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Grease, Bugsy Malone and Little Shop of Horrors they played to all their strengths. Members of the cast would give a brief but informative synopsis about characters and plot which seemed very well appreciated by the audience. Although there were only five boys in a bevy of young ladies, they were very supportive in dance and song. It would be unfair to single any individuals out as I felt they were a great team from start to finish. I have to commend Pauline and Andrea’s dedication to the group who rehearsed tirelessly since May to present 1 Nite Only. I have a feeling that in such a supportive community they could have easily filled the hall for a second or third night. Well done everyone, and thank you very much for your hospitality.
